You've made some pretty creative posts, I should pay more attention.

Who said anything "rules the world"? We make judgements. In a multi-generational war, today's children will be our enemies tomorrow. Kill them now, while it is easy. Women are a cannon that shoot out a dozen more warriors. Kill them whenever you get the chance. It is only practical.

Movie agenda one, sell to millions, it requires gimmick and click-bait. Movie agenda two, be different. What for; only because you can't measure up on the first agenda?

How do movies lead to the tangible? When 99% have some kind of metal thing people point at each other that burps out fire? A movie, by definition is about conflict. Their agenda is to reinforce, divide and build more conflict. Watchers of movies deserve every bit of what they're forced to digest.

The image in your head IS THE EXPERIENCE. No transformation is necessary. We may not know how to build a building, but we know approximately how long it takes and how much it will cost. Those who don't want it built, will try to alter those parameters. Things go into memory, but perhaps there is no delete key. My Covids were not memorable, and never a touch of vaccine.

The rest of it? I don't inject movie-serum into my blood stream, so you have to talk with the addicts about that.

As I see it, #1 priority in the movie business is to produce a work for a specific purpose. Selling to millions is not that purpose. The reason is (I think) that the whole movie production process is based on “castings”. Everyone is carefully selected and prepared to perform the relevant role. It’s obvious with actors. They are not chosen because their face will sell the movie. If this was the case, all movies would be produced with a dozen of the same actors over and over again. Instead, the actors are a vehicle to convey a message. Not all actors are ready / prepared / experienced / allowed to convey all messages alike.

With this conclusion, it’s nice to ask a question: “What is this movie about?” (below the obvious scenario). And summarize it in twenty one-line points.

Being different, I don’t see it, either. First, plenty of remakes. Why? Why would you do the same thing again? Not because it is “popular”. Maybe you need to develop a new training material for new generations of the selected target audience? (Which is not those who buy tickets or disks…) Maybe the perception (“agenda”) embedded in the original movie needs to be revised and reframed? James Bond is a perfect example here with the progressive escalation of violence and dehumanization at the expense of finesse, savoir-vivre or second thoughts. This one is a long saga of reprogramming our minds. I am not saying that it is wrong or good, I mean the process alone.

Then, movie series based on original feature films. Viewers don’t really care about “different or not”. We expect enter-tainment, or a scenario-based program (a taint) which we can easily enter into our brains. Those who produce such movies are (probably) focused on making specific changes to our minds with this medium. The original 90-minute compact message may be a) extended practically indefinitely (see “Coronation Street” with nearly 11,000 (!) episodes aired from 1960 till now, https://is.gd/lp6M6X); b) modified as needed.

And, of course, we have “Friends”, 235 episodes programming cliché behaviors and internal clashes and misunderstandings within an isolated circle impervious to changes. 235 identical episodes, with extremely little variation, a lot of flat jokes and the necessary undercurrent of laugh tracks.

Again, not bad, not good, just a means, a vehicle to initiate and control long-term changes in the collective mind.

The question is, “What for?” What are we changing for? What our controllers are preparing us for? Super interesting stuff :-)

In my view, movies are a great study material for self-development and building insight acuity. You can rewind it, slow down, compare, re-view, carefully analyze text and its added role to the imagery, all in the time of your choice and when you are ready to understand the scene. With some movies, this readiness may come after years, or only when real-life situations provide enough context.

Maybe this is why it is a huge $$$-packed business. A universal tool for the stimulation of self-growth, self-adaptable to the mental capacity of the particular viewer at a particular time and in a particular context. Well worth studying in itself.
