As we can see from the 2020-2025 covid story, all this knowledge has led us to nothing good.

Those ignorant (i.e. we all) are in no position to expand knowledge. We simply live and do not care or want to care about “higher” matters. Knowledge comes only through the elevated ones, who - as the history proves - the more elevated they are, the more corrupt and forgetting about their roots they tend to be. In general, a small percentage of “knowledge” is used for the common good. The core of the business is to keep knowledge available only to select few and to milk maximum profits from it at the expense of us all. Proof: patents, the legal system, arbitrary admission to basic life needs.

If we (the humanity) were honest, we would provide the following for free to anyone: shelter (housing), water for consumption and sanitation, basic (real) food, protection from natural forces, and - a recent addition - free electricity for the basic needs related to existence and employment.

Except for Libya, nobody has ever attempted to do anything like this. Despite absurd $$ trillions in flow, even more absurd $$ trillions reflowed to private accounts (aka inflation / budget), supposedly advanced technology everywhere, supposedly breakthrough science everywhere.

Maybe we should stop thinking about “knowledge” as a principle of “progress”. So far, it looks more like a gigantic hoax. Useless, expensive and paid from the money earned by people who actually do some work - without their say or consent.
